Miss Peggy's Heavenly Food!
Yesterday I had a meeting with a very nice and interesting lady, Miss Peggy. She is the owner of Peggy's Just Heavenly Good Homecooking on N. Thomas. It's a small place inside but large in smiles and with a very welcoming atmosphere!
Before we started our business meeting with Peggy, we decided we just had to were there we just had to taste some of Peggy's homecooking. Let me tell you it was just like grandma made. It was so good and I was so full when I left. The portions are very generous and the conversation was good. Peggy likes to talk about food, cooking and her restaurant and patrons.
Every day there are different choices to choose from. On Tueday our choices were neck bones, italian steak, fried chicken, green beans, greens, macaroni and cheese, and potatoes. You have a choice between bread or cornbread. Catfish or buffalo fish is served daily.
Peggy's is located at 887 N. Thomasm, just past Chelsea in Memphis. The phone is 901-578-6907 and you can dine in or take out Mon - Sat between 11am-6pm.
